If you break the text made for the Letter format, It will not good for A4 format. If not expensive, better is to buy new paper. Cuting book blocks (depending on thickness) can be a minimum of 0.2cm. | Author: capslock22 Post subject: does bookbinding will reduce paper size? Posted: Tue Jun 30, 2009 7:24 am hi guys... i really dont know everything about the process of bookbinding... Is the paper will be cut by a certain cutter in order for it to be align or equal? well, i need to bookbind, a requirement from my school a "Thesis" it is default to used a letter size paper 8.5"x11" but unfortunately i got a mistake buying the right paper size i had bought an a4 size which is 8.27"x11.69" so my paper here is smaller by .23" : so if it will be cut then my paper width tends to be more smaller? maybe it will be fine if it will not be cut? or be cut only by .1" now i wanna know how many inches it will be cut when cutting the paper when it is to be bookbind... because i am confused if its better to buy new bondpaper or still used what i have here an a4 size thanks guys for replies and opinions |
